Ten Days in Hawi

Ten days in Hawi (Kohala District of Hawaii Island) at Randy and Sarah Stoddard's home - Puu Pueo.  This photo is looking across their small crater towards the pasture.  A lovely spot, complete with 2 large dogs,  and a relaxing Thanksgiving break. Thanks Sarah and Randy.

The house at Puu Pueo from the other side of the crater.

The sad sight of vog, looking towards Kona.

Pepeekeo sugar on the Haumakua Coast.

The remains of the Pepeekeo sugar mill. Wayne was born in Pepeekeo and Papa was manager there in the mid-70's.

Thanksgiving dinner ready to cook...ono, scallops and grilled romaine salad. We also had couscous and green beans.

Scallops with a sweet and sour sauce.

The dinner plate..yum!

Along came Darby wanting in on the ear scratching.

Sunshine, trees, bird of paradise...

Painting supervised by Darby.

Mousse the art critic. He gave the painting a lick...think that means he approves.
