The kids and their families came to visit and, as the following
photos show, a good time was had by all. I had a terrible time narrowing
down the photos so their visit is actually in 2 posts.

| The infamous
hose fight of 2013. Six adult were sitting on the porch laughing. This
did not make Kali and Jackie happy. It's not funny, they said. In
frustration, an angry Jackie said, to Kali, "I'm going to take you and
put you in a trash bag and throw you in the dump." By this time the
adults were rolling on the deck with laughter...poor kids! |

I decided to find them another hose and ease the problems, it was on to
water pistols. Jackie isn't sure if he should squirt Kali or not. |

| We had lunch
at a Quadra icon, Terry's Takeout, and this young man ran home to get
various of his belongings to sell. We wondered if his parents might
object but Terry said she didn't think they would but she'd call us if
they did. Jackie and Kali are loving it...lunch and a deck sale. |

and Baby...note Jackie's face. That is a sad baby face. Kali, the Mama,
is telling him everything will be fine. They were traveling on an
airplane and the captain (not our Captain) was somewhere beyond the
gate. The kids' parents were off somewhere and Buck and I were entranced
with the show, the kids didn't seem to know we were there. It was great
fun and very entertaining. |
