It is way past time for me to update my blog so here is the first installment covering the last few months. more to follow...
Marnie's brain hemorrhage on July 21 precipitated an immediate move out of her apartment. We did it in three days. Our biggest complication was this bird who had decided to nest in one of Marnie's plants..don't ask what we did about it.
Here I am signing for all of Marnie's meds. Boy, could I have made a fortune on the streets of Chinatown.
By day three, as you can see, we were getting pretty zoomie.
Then in the midst of all the confusion the tree trimmers showed up. The wind was gusty and the man in the bucket disappeared.
Ah there he is again.
This job is not for people who are afraid of heights! Imagine the view, however.
Off I flew on August 13 to look for a place for Marnie in Beaverton, Oregon. Thad, Jackie and I did a blitz tour of the facilities with openings. Here is Thad and Jessica's dinning table with my plan of attack spread out on it.
I flew home on the 17th, collected Marnie and we flew back to Oregon on the 19th. This little fellow looks exactly like I felt.
I decided Farmginton Square best met our needs. This picture is looking down the walkway with the door to Marnie's unit on the left.
Marnie in front of her door.
Marnie got her hands on a hose and gave the nozzle a squeeze! It appeared she didn't want her picture taken.
oh, oh she realized she has squirted me and I'm wet.
Who me?
Brother Wayne came to take over and give me some R&R. Here he is with Marnie and Jackie.
Marnie and Jackie checking out a cell phone.
Marnie at her craft table.
