May seems to be the best month for spotting eagles. This is an eagle nest. We didn't see any eaglets but teenage and adult eagles were all around us. |

Truly gross, disgusting, nasty and awful...tent caterpillars. They build their nets and then proceed to chew up the trees. |
We got as many tents as we could and then built a fire and cooked them. Doni is having a caterpillar roast. Lots of fires happening! |

Lizzy and Dee Lowery came to visit in their camper. We had a great time showing them our island. Last time they visited we had just bought the house and it was in the midst of its first renovation. |
