| It was Monday so we went to the hardware store and tried on work gloves. |

| On of our friends replies to questions asking, What do you do on Quadra? With, "On Monday we go to the hardware store and try on work gloves. Don't buy any. On Tuesday we take the recycling, Wednesday is trash night"..and on it goes. We have great fun thinking up things we do. Tomorrow we will watch the 4 pm ferry come in. |

| And the next morning our breakfast was delivered to our room in a basket. We stayed in the Humbolt House B&B and breakfast was crepes-seafood for me and fruit for Buck. After Breakfast we headed to Portland, Oregon. |
